Legacy Summer Camps

  • Dates: June 30 – August 15 (Four two-week sessions, 8 AM/9 AM- 5:45 PM)

  • Ages: PreK – 6th grade (4-11)​ 

  • Description: Campers enjoy creative arts, STEM, nature, and sports, with weekly trips to destinations around New York City.​

Harlem Grown Summer Camp

  • Dates: July 7 - August 15

  • Ages: Rising K-8th graders

  • Description: A free summer camp focusing on urban farming, sustainability, and healthy living. Due to high application volume, campers are selected via a lottery system.​

Dance Theatre of Harlem: Summer Minis Dance Camp

  • Dates: July 7 – 11 (10am – 3:30pm)

  • Ages: 5 – 7 years

  • Description: Provides a fun, safe environment to explore the joy of creative movement, including ballet and other dance forms, along with arts and crafts workshops.​

Summer Science Club: STEAM Immersion Summer Day Camp 2025 

  • Dates: July 7 – August 8 (8:30 am to 4:30 pm)

  • Ages: 5 – 10 years

  • Description: Five weeks at Summer Science Club is the equivalent to 1.5 years of science instruction at the average New York City public school! This is an amazing opportunity for your young scientists to stay engaged and inspired during the summer break.

Chloe Day School Picasso Summer Arts Camp

  • Dates: To be announced​ (most likely June 30- August 8, 8:30 am -4:30 pm)

  • Ages: 2-5

  • Description: Offers a summer arts camp focusing on creative expression and artistic development.​

Riverside Park Sports Camp

  • Dates: June 2-August 18 (9:00am – 3:30pm)​

  • Ages: 4 to 16

  • Description: Riverside Park Conservancy’s Summer Sports Camp is a weekly all-day camp. Available sports are baseball, basketball, flag football, soccer, tennis, volleyball, and tumbling/gymnastics, as well as multi-sport week options. The camp uses the sports fields and courts in Riverside Park.

  • Price: $400 half day per week, $550 whole day per week

Harlem YMCA Summer Camps

  • Dates: June 30 – August 22 (Four two-week sessions, 8/9am-5/6pm)

  • Ages: 4-15

  • Description: Offers a variety of camps including Kinder Camp, Day Camp, Dance Camp, Swim Camp, Basketball Camp, and Teen Camp, focusing on personal growth and skill development.​

Harlem School of the Arts (HSA) Summer Programs

  • Dates: July 1 – August 15

  • Ages: 4 – 12 

  • Description: A six-and-a-half-week program where campers explore new concepts, engage in artistic activities, and enjoy field trips.

Kids Passport to Adventure

  • Dates: June 30 – August 22 (8 am - 5pm or 5:30pm)

  • Ages: 4-14

  • Description: Provides weekly adventures focusing on experiential learning and personal growth at Harriman State Park, NY​.​ Kids bussed from Harlem/Washington Heights. 

  • Price: $650 per week (minimum of 2 weeks required)​

ACT Summer Camp at St. John the Divine

  • Dates: June 30 – August 22​

  • Ages: 3.7 to 14.11 years​

  • Description: Offers a fun-filled eight-week program with various activities promoting creativity and learning.​

Cathedral STEAM Camp

  • Dates: Session 1: July 7 – July 18; Session 2: July 21 – August 1

  • Ages: Rising Kindergarten to Grade 6​

  • Description: An innovative day camp blending craft, engineering, and technology to spark wonder in campers.​

WildArts Summer Camp

  • Dates: June 30 – August 8 (8AM-6PM)

  • Ages: 3/PK through 5th grade​

  • Description: Held at PS 84, this camp offers creative play, including singing, dancing, painting, and sports, with weekly water days and field trips.​

Basis Independent Summer Camp

  • Ages: PK through 5th grade​

  • Description: Provides a variety of activities designed to engage young learners in a fun and educational environment.​

Little Lions Summer Camp

  • Dates: June 16 – August 15 (8:15AM- 3PM)

  • Ages: 6 – 12 years​

  • Description: Held at Columbia University's Morningside Heights campus and Baker Athletics Complex, a kid-centered, fun-based day camp focusing on physical and creative activities, including sports and arts.​

CinemaKidz Summer Camp

  • Dates: June 30th – August 15th (9am – 4pm or 5:30pm))

  • Ages: 5 to 15

  • Description: Held at Basis Independent School, this camp allows kids to explore filmmaking, acting, and media arts.​
